for the office of the CFO

The cheapest capital you can raise this quarter is already on your balance sheet.

It is sitting in unapplied cash, unresolved short-pays, and invoices that failed a customer’s AP validation. No debt, no dilution, no cost cut — just days. Kaiva puts agents on that work and reports in the two units you already use: euros released and days of cash conversion.

§ 01 · why the last three AI projects did not pay

Hours saved never reached the cash-flow statement.

Productivity is real and invisible to finance. A day saved in a shared-services team does not show up in DSO, in the interest line, or in the board pack. So the programme gets cut. Most AI-for-AR vendors still price on seats or usage — you pay whether the number moves or not. Kaiva doesn’t.

sold on hours saved

“The team is 30% more productive.” Unbankable. Nothing to point to on the statement. Renewal dies at budget.

sold on cash released

“€2.4M pulled forward, DSO down 6 days, net of a control.” A line the treasurer can bank and the auditor can check.

§ 02 · the model

What one leak is worth.

Set your own figures. This is the same arithmetic we walk through on the call — your data replaces it in week one.

§ 03 · what lands in your board pack

One page, already in your language.

Not a usage dashboard. A statement of what the agents moved, what it cost, what was held back as control, and what remains reversible — signed, and traceable to the underlying transactions. Your audit committee gets the same page. So does your external auditor, as a signed pack.

Where does our data live?

Your choice: self-hosted inside your own environment, or EU-hosted by us in the region you choose. Model calls can be pinned in-region either way. Your data never trains a foundation model.

What if an agent makes a mistake that costs money?

Every action is reversible for 30 days and posts a matching credit — the original and the reversal both stay on the ledger, forever.

How do we know the number isn't overstated?

We hold out a control group the agent never touches and bill on the measured gap. The method is agreed before go-live and reproducible by your auditor.

How much runs without a human?

Only what you set. Each rule carries an autonomy budget in euros or count; when it exhausts, the rule stops and waits for a person.

Can we switch it off?

Per rule, instantly. Policy is a signed, versioned file — revoking autonomy is one approved change, not a project.

where we usually start

Bring one month of your exception queue.

We will size it in euros and days, show you which of the six leaks is worst, and tell you honestly whether an agent belongs anywhere near it.
